Huth 2007 exhuast and tube Bender / swedger / shrinker

Picked up this guy yesterday.  always wanted one.  could never touch the price point as they are 15k-30K machines.  used 1980s ones still bring 5-8K.   made a missing part today, will order a few others. 

ordered 2 new pressure gages and machine manual
cleaned and lubed
added labels to control box for functions

18 different 180 dies
about 30 swedge and shrink dies

53K lb main ram
3hp 240 motor


looks like im missing one 2.5" back shoe and the 2.5" clamp collet

I make the shoe, or make due with the half and 1/4 shoes i have (used for tight clearance bending if needed)
and probably order the 2.5 clamp collet for 115$

saved hours on first job today.  love this thing.  the swedge is awesome for filling in holes where cats were cut out

operators and maintenance manual came in today from ebay, worth 12$ to me i think after just going through it!

would like to make a 2.5" full shoe to replace the one im missing.

scratched my head last few days about how to make a cutter for mill or shaper to make from solid, and i think a welded piece would be more achievable.

gona have wolfi burn me 28 plates of 1/4 or whatever to stack to make 7" long die.  weld together, then drill tap the pin holes after its trued up.

66$ to the first laser cut shop on google that took 2 min to build a quote with a .dxf for 28 parts in 1/4"    man do they have their interface down for easy.  impressive.
