looking for a tiller and a york rake.

prices are insane used.


i think i can build two of each for less than used cost.

looks like its 200$ in tines to make a good 72" rake.  used they are 600$ new 600-800+

the used 3-500$ ones you might see occasionally are BEAT and bent up

I’m no farmer, but what about a Cultivator? I suppose it depend on your soil condition.

im actually wanting a rake to fix and grade gravel.


i have a 2 tine cultivator thing i made that works great for ripping up soil and make 2 rows for plating.  plan to get a tiller eventually.

i had borrowed Jeffs tiller which made very quick work to prep garden from field in less than 30min i did 30x100' area.  plan to do again in fall, and then again in spring and cover with weed fabric.

i checked runnings site last week, was higher priced, and no stock of any kind and any runnings or tractor supply listed.  ill have to look again.

i see they have both models available in lockport of the 7'  not clear what you get for the "pro" version for another 100$
