fat guy project
« on: May 07, 2023, 10:34:17 AM »
End of Jan this year i woke up and decided my weight was out of control and i had enough of it
288 lbs and felt like shit mentally and physically.  back, shoulders, knees killing me.  I have always been over weight since middle school and i know it will be a struggle to maintain this but i have been having fun with about 1hr of my day committed to change.  Im pretty good and driving towards goals, i just havent put that drive towards my health more than a few times in my adult life.

started eating clean (eggs, chicken, fish, veggies 99%) and no junk
quit drinking alcohol 100%
daily 5 min full body stretch
daily 20 minute bow flex upper arms and core       https://youtu.be/bnbieBUFZK0
daily 20 minute madfit youtube full body exercise and cardio    https://youtu.be/IT94xC35u6k
daily 15 minute HIIT spin bike youtube    https://youtu.be/6ScNxo7fhcg

Other than 2 week Utah vacation i have only missed like 3 days of my daily workouts since Jan 26th.

down to 226lbs today and still working towards goals!

Very good!

I'm heading the opposite direction  :-\

Was 190 in Dec.  Now 210.   Need to watch my diet. Still working out regularly but I've been eating more/unhealthy.  It's all in the diet.

Excellent job!

Its definitely all in the diet.  Big food and big pharma have destroyed health in this country.  Sugar, soy, corn, carbs; 90% of the supermarket is straight up poison.

I've been on a meat, dairy and spinach diet for 4-5 years now and it works very well for me.  We buy all of our eggs, meat and diary from local farms.

I've found CBD very beneficial as well.  Since I started taking it last year, I dont get cramps, get sore or need recovery time.

215? Shit, you're gonna have me beat in another couple days. Well done
I am reliably back under 210 again but holding just there at 207-209 first thing in the morning...

switched over to 36" waist shorts today first time since high school.   man it is so nice to wear a pair of pants without a belt for the first time in 3 months.  i hate belts.  but 38"s are all my stuff and fall to my ankles with out a belt now.

nice work!   over time it will be your new "normal"
My favorite thing was a weight tracker app that i could export the data and graph it.  Im a numbers/data guy, so it was perfect for me to track my progress.
