project: 1949 FlatShopRat
« on: January 24, 2017, 09:41:37 AM »
newly procured project.
determined power train is a bit loose for a buggy motor.  rolls coal great though!

07' van / chassis dual rear wheel, 589K miles on a DBW 6.0, 4l80e
we pulled the box for a shed, and now it sits.
looking for a 1930's-60's complete cab with title
and will flatbed it.

plan to use van floor and firewall, mate it to the doner cab.  source seats and interior mismatch it.
crawler hauler potential

might have to add a high idle feature to this unit

having trouble keeping up with a 1200watt space heater.

Ground the ECM AC trigger? It'll give you at least 100 rpm.

spencer sent over this one this morning.  hmm.  looks annoying to appear in my lot.  would have a hard time not just wanting to get it running being 4x4.  case and drive shafts out, glass and cab good.

That old chassis is about useless. You'll spend way too much time on it.
