ended up being the actual gear to gear oil pump in the hydro unit was seized stalling motor.  swapped the oil pump from a lift assembly JJ gave me all good.

used for 30minutes plus to move axles and motors around the shop lot for winter clean up!  she is good to go for another plow season!

calling it on this thing, last winter for it.  getting cut up in 2018

dont have the tolerance to change wires, plugs, heavy gage wire, and starter motor, set timing correctly, and add a block/oil heater.

just doesnt like the cold any more.

Sure it’s not just timing off from the ignition change? I don’t know why I’m asking. I’m sure you’re sure.

im not sure on the timing, it has no marks, and where it runs plus or minus 20 degrees there is no change in operation

the plugs look horible and it may not even be running on 8 when it runs, they look like they dont want to come out, havent tried.

No marks and plugs that don’t want to come out sounds like no fun when it doesn’t fit in the shop to work on warm.

Not quite yet. I sold the truck for $600, which considering there's no bed or front axle, I don't think that's too bad. I also sold the $10 autozone mirrors for $50. I still have the wrecker body, plow, and beacon to get rid of. I was originally excited to try and make money, but it's a pain when my shop is 40 mins from my apartment, so I'll be happy if I can break even.
