well, failed with a marine boat tank.. pickup tube must be stuck or something dumb.  tank strapped to bumper and hose put in tank.

she kicked and spat and faught for a while.  even tried to pull losing a wire to the coil!

we exceeded the duty of the winch trying to lift the XJ shell on to the wedge.  i guess it has a slipper clutch in it to keep you from breaking shat.

an optima, a vice grip, a fuel filter, gas tank, and some lube we were back in service picking things up and putting things down.

I would be surprised if it had a clutch in the winch and if it did load would be way higher than the xj shell on a wrecker boom winch.   Likely the free spool/not assembly contraption is not locked in fully or is extremely worn.  I have thought I was locked in fully when I wasn't even on new trucks.  When I couldn't get a civic stuck in park moved I knew something was wrong

plowed last 3 times with 5% clutch.  exhaust blew apart a while back.  got a wicked 4hour head ache last time.

Got mad enough and put this guy on the lift carefully.  extended clutch linkage rod and actually fixed clutch issues.  re welded up exhaust after finding a flex exhaust that failed.  mint

100% duty and much nicer to plow with.
