Watching that video I also have no idea why I didn't go wide on the outside of him. I know better, he can't corner for shit. I need to just let him hit me if he can't hold his line. I don't need to be his personal cameraman, or whatever it was he gave me credit for.

Hopefully all parts will be here Friday for this.

Going to try to fix master with a 1/16" npt 90 to reroute resi hose high & tight. Hopefully enough time to get a spare if that doesn't work out.

Clutch works fine now btw, but I can’t hit the floor with it. Pedal hits a stop of some sort an inch off the floor.

What's the filler ID? Use an expansion plug?

It eventually shrank with the good grease. Just wasn’t instant.

8.8 procured today. Has fresh drum brakes and a mini spool. Just need to do maths and decide on gears to be happy running 3-4 instead of 1-2.

For sale: Yukon 4.88 and master install for a d30. Idk high or low, need to make sure all is present. It was dark and cold, deal good enough I didn’t go through the boxes.

i just took out a 4.56 gear set out of an 8.8 that has a nic in a pinion tooth from spider gear explostion.  the damage really isnt in the patten load area, but it was wanted to be changed.... sitting in scrap pile

also have a new 8.8 yukon instal kit sitting on shelf,

you can have the gear set, and you brobably dont need a whole install kit.  external shims i have stacks of.  the bearings are probably fine reuse.  the carrier the scrap set on has new timken bearings on it 1 month old.

can talk and look when we shoe brolites away this week, or are you doing the swap before winter?

the comando and some motors need to go back to arie this week too.

I’ll put off stripping the decking again. Figure I’ll build the axle over winter and swap it in the spring.

Sounds good.
