Dropped at Jim's for fixing.

It's hot out.

Few other things to do. Going to get a couple new gauges on it. Some fresh intake mani gaskets to hopefully cure the apparent vac leak. Not sure if fan control will make the cut for this weekend but I'm only making that change if it does. I'm not going to shake that down at a race.

Should be looking at a parts camper this afternoon. I'd rather find a 8-9' popup to put on the truck deck/ goose neck/ goose deck depending on needs but if I can get the one I'm looking at for cheap enough, its parts will go in the nose of the enclosed and I'll be a (wait for it) happy camper.

Can you ask Jim if there's a better place to put the temp sensor than in the pan? I'd rather have his opinion than random internet trolls on how slow the pan temps sometimes react. potentially putting the sensor in a test port?

Trans will be at delphi tomorrow morning less filter.  We are still planing on finishing my car and matts car tonight.  Wednesday night good for trans install.

do you have the extra TF999 filter or is it still on my shelf?  95% sure i gave you it when you took the car.

Jim noticed a few things

something with the filter extention (i dont under stand his explanation)

but more importantly- that valve body was not calibrated for no kick down.  kick down calls for more pressure in high gear.

i havent talked to him yet today, but as of last night he was going to swap valve bodies from the summit core we raced on for 2 years that: Calibrated for manual downshifts, no provisions for kickdown or TV cable. and have it ready for today.
