Make sure you have some load on the rope when you're putting it on the winch, like have it pull your Jeep up a slight incline or something. I did not do this and the first time I went to use it, it just kept wrapping tighter and tighter on the winch and not pulling me anywhere... it did eventually but then the rope was a bitch to untangle after the fact.

today i decided to work on my front brakes and some touch up paint from the ARTEC truss smike installed. also a new steering stabilizer from FOX



next week i should have rear new calipers and brakes installed.

New rear calipers pads and rotors installed.  Still can not install parking brake shoes.  that lever that the parking brake cable attaches to is seized.  anyone know what part it is?

Yeah that's a dealer only part . That's what fell into my parking brake system and melted into a mess

ordering ...http://www.summitracing.com/parts/mgr-mg22135   ...gotta fix that leaky rear seal.. also reversing the rear brakes... the stealership wanted 140+ for those e brake parts.  gonna go with http://www.shop.blackmagicbrakes.com/Dana-44-Rear-Disc-Brake-Backing-Plate-Assemblies-Dana-44-R-L-Backing-Plates.htm so i have new parts.
