WTB- J Truck Cab Parts
« on: August 14, 2013, 07:43:29 AM »
I decided to build my Grand Wagoneer, and lack a few things.

I need a partial J Truck cab, I'm going to cut the cargo area roof off of the waggy and use part of a J Truck cab to enclose the passenger compartment of the waggy to turn it into a 4 door truck.

If anyone knows of a rotted on sitting around, any infomation is appreciated.

Thanks.

Arie, Did you get my last email?

Ordered a new winch yesterday. (Super Winch 9500)

Started to dig out my TBI parts to inject it.

Dug out a PSC ram I've had up stairs in my shop.

Had a set of 50% 35's, and a extra set of steelies.

Need to make it a kid hauling wheeler. Making it a 4 door truck removes the opportunity for the quater glass to break, and add the function to haul fuel cans, straps, other muddy items out of the passenger compartment.

Also considering using a J-truck tail gate, to lighten it more.

Recently I bought a sport quad and only used it twice in 3 months, so I sold it. I definitley miss wheeling, so I need something that will last a while and be comfortable. I may put in a Corbeau order this week as well.

I sent you a note on the XJ before I started buying parts.

The winch was $349 on Amazon with free shipping. (Sorry)

Thanks Mike, I always struggle with having plate on what I wheel for the random days I feel like driving it around.  I think using the truck cab wall will be cool, and even better if I can fin one with a sliding rear window.

I already located another cheap Waggy for axle shafts and parts, and plan to make 4 gutted half doors out of the parts waggy, should help with the weight reduction, and I won't be ruining my rust free doors.

Since my last rig had an exo on it, this one will have an exo roof structure with the pillars going through the roof.

Try Gif for J-truck stuff.  I don't know if he sold his or is parting out.
