Title: American Shifter Company review- garbage.
Post by: M4wdFab on June 21, 2021, 07:10:32 PM
https://www.americanshifter.com/products/shifter/

Normally i am pretty tolerant of making things work and needing some fiddling, but this product was ABSOLUTE JUNK in 7 ways.

i would have rather pulled the engine in and out again than have to make one of these piles work again.

what a disaster.  non fitting parts, shit directions that need to be downloaded though a third party, so many extra random parts, you get 3 pictures from 2001 resolution of your trans application that are useless.  metric and sae hardware mixed, zinc coated and ungraded hardware.

neutral safety switch does not work at all and is not adjustable at all.

300$+ of rickety randomness i hope i never ever have to deal with ever again.

no idea.  i have always built my own shifters or used PTO style shifts.  this was dropped off with the truck as an after thought, and was a mess.

That was my guess. I like the one I’ve got in racecar. Haven’t thought about what I’ll use in the Chevy yet
