picked up one of these guys yesterday!

also to note, porter cable has a mini grinder too, for 29$

i like the thumb trigger much better

had a grinder fail yesterday, and seems i missing another one or its in one of the trucks / trailers somewhere

picked up a replacement porter, and also the dewalt since it was "on sale and only 10$ more than the 2nd PC i was going to get. 



probably throw you some numbers pretty soon.  i need to replace 2 regular drills that also failed this month (dewalt 18v drill / Porter cable 18v drill).  M4 is pretty tough on tools.

Not a fan of dewalt grinders, buddies use them to cut stone, for them they don't last too long
That $30 porter is 6amp 11000rpm compared to the usual 7amp 12k rpm
I like the squeeze trigger where there's a possibility I may drop it

i dont like that i need 2 hands to lock the trigger, always have the trigger locked. 

the reg PCs are 7amp 10K FYI

I have all thumb triggers, and really prefer the PC front trigger like you've had. Drop safety. 97% of the time I hold a grinder in such a way that the dead man switch would be covered.

I'm liking my dewalt 5" units a lot, not that I've done a ton since I got them.

Next order I'm planning on a battery impact for the buggy. 15+ minute tire changes that kill me are useless, especially without a codriver.

i have dropped them and wrapped them in my welding jacket sleve, they still dont shut off till you pull the cord from the wall

I don't lock the trigger, I've wrapped them in a shirt or 2 as well. I like the longer body cause I usually use 2 hands on, I've noticed Smike holds  it 1 handed like a palm sander. On smaller concrete jobs I've used a makita grinder to score concert, current one is on 2 years

you girls using vices and clamps takes too long for me.
