we are adding 2 ft of deck to the trailer and gonna make integrated tool box thingys in the deck to put the chains and binders and straps and all that and a spot to put shovels and rakes under the deck.

yes to the front of the trailer. This will give the trailer 22ft of flat deck and 5 ft of beaver tail

Yes it would of been easier but so far I have spent $420 and have all the steel and coupler. I am sure a trade in would cost me a minimum of a grand probably more like 1500. I could of sold it on craigslist and would have to deal with the annoying people on craigslist then buy another one off craigslist. I can't be without the trailer for that long if I ended up selling it and still trying to find what I wanted for sale so that would not work.

We won't be finishing tonight but tomorrow will be the home stretch. the hardest part of this is getting everything square center level and all that. Other than that I would definitelyconvert another

ya i was thinking that tank of gas and that little guy will be working pretty hard for that task!

yup ran out of gas and almost used a 11lb spool of .035 today and the welding is not all done yet. Had to spend a lot of time waiting on the welder to cool down that is for sure.

looks good.  gona throw some plate on the top of the 45 in the last pic to match the beams?  Thats the strongest part of both beams that should be tied together.

are you talking about the 45 on the top of the vertical i beam or the 90 that is from the original frame rail to the verticle I beam?

Yeah we are planning on capping that and with the same plate running down the channel a little ways to tie it all together
