Title: welder issue

my MIG isnt feeding well...
tried to mock up some brackets and the flux wire wasn't flowing well..

suggestions?

Take the tip apart and push a price of wire through and make sure it is clean. Then also check down by the rollers and the little spot where the wire goes into the liner

i assume you changed consumables.

drive wheel tension, worn drive wheel, or kinked liner can cause feeding issues.

too much wire or too thick of wire with out proper power can also cause what seems like feed issues. 

check the line voltage of something under load if your trying out in a garage 150' from the pannel

I've had the kinked liner issue with previous welders that I acquired used.

also, the micro switch in the gun has failed severl times on me.  im on my 3rd miller lead, and the one now i have has been cut apart, wires spliced in and fixed several times.

my 211 has fed about 250lbs of wire on 2 drive wheels though....
