pinion outer bearing welded to pinion. looks dusty dry in side :o

easy fix after some torch and press action.

remind me never to set up taco ifs gears lol

i even called the dealer. i love when he asks me if its a 4wd when i am asking for a front pinion bearing.

51$ from the dealer or rock auto same price for a cup and cone bearing.

rock auto has 3 choices i guess i need to measure things to match dimensions.

guy was trying to get it back together ASAP for the weekend bath run. crap.

what tools, i cant imagine being normal.

learning experience: toyota dust shields on yokes contact seal faces if you don't pound the seal in 1/4" further than any other pinion or case seal i have ever installed lol

added a shim to the crush sleve to re crush it down, and changed out the shitty koyo pinion washer that was coned.

pattern looked tolerable, i didnt do anything to change the pattern.

sealed up and ready to go.
