Title: junk 1t rotors
Post by: mr.mindless on March 25, 2013, 02:54:32 PM
I want 4 8x6.5" rotors to cut down for small spacers on the wedge. Tires are rubbing.

I thought I had 2 myself but can't find my old rotors. Hoping someone has some, I need to use that trailer in the next week.

$30 in consumables? ($7.50 shipping)

aluminum makes me a lil nervous too, especially in a trailer application when I'd never feel anything loose and wobbly until it was way too late.

I'm getting rotors from Chadley.

Too bad my dodge unit bearings are buried somewhere, that'd be an easy way to run them whether going plasma or cutoff wheel.

sounds to me like way more than $30 in your time alone... let alone fuel to go get them...

good point about aluminum though.  my experience with aluminum pinion wedges, i wouldnt run them on a trailer either.

we can do it.  we have some spinning 8 lug stuff around the shop that should work

I need to get a tire from him and payment from bringing the truck back.

I'm not running aluminum shit on a trailer, and I can't buy steel for $30.
