Title: propane tanks
Post by: FallibleXJ on March 10, 2013, 06:35:33 PM
Looking for some propane tanks and brackets for a forklift. Wanting to covert the 5 to Propane and used/cheaper tanks would make it more likely to happen :)

you wont- trust me.

dont bother to check welding places- they want money and will only do 5 year lease-

Like i said you will also need what i based my 800$ drop it off and drive it away quote:
Mixer / regulator / vapor hose / 1BB adapter Butterfly 250$
12' of high pressure LP hose / fittings  (good year air hose lasts a while but the acid in LP makes it stiff) 40$
4' of heater hose to splice into your heater core lines 5$
a 12vdc shut down or Vac shut down solenoid 30$
Tank or two  150$
Tank brackets 50$
Tank fitting 14$
clamps / ect 20$
throttle linkage adapt
fuel pump block of plate / disconnect

if your jeep is 1BB carb i think the mixer will bolt right on the way i had it setup.
