Nick, what would you charge to pick up a 3500lb 55g drum at a freight dock, and then deliver it inside a garage

3500lbs  lead shot

driveway access to garage

sounds like a solid job for Dbjr, and the big bore

i will contact you when i have more info, and if this is going to go down.  we could ship it to whatever terminal you want, but it has to end up about 20min south of my shop.

figure it would crush a normal truck bed with such a small foot print.

Likely yes.  It would probably try hard to fall through a normal light duty trailer too. Dump trailer maybe?

I'd want some stout hardwood timbers under it to spread the load. or maybe something like good (not rotten) rail ties.

I have three 6' 12x12 hardwood timbers in the side yard you can borrow to put under it if you need. Help yourself.

That is nothing for a deck over trailer like mine. every time I load the excavator I easily point load that much weight with the bucket width
