No,  just sitting.
If someone caught me in the right mood I would probably let it go cheap.

Thanks for the bump.

I thought I would use it for winter wheeling but my weekends are skiing with the family.
I do use it to plow snow and it is a beast.
Anyone that has wheeled with me knows what this thing can do.
If I don't get any hits I will probably part it out.   Maybe build another buggy.??..
Just too many nice parts just sitting.

With the full hydro steering, no.   But it still has the location to put a steering box back in.
It would also need some type of a parking brake.

I do have a TITLE for it!    So you could.

I'll pass the info along. I know a couple people looking to get into wheeling, but they need road legal rigs. This  may be more work than they want to get into for first time.

Hydro steering in not illegal.

Hydro steering is not illegal.

this. but typo-fixed.

I'd not want to drive a single ended ram on the street but it's not illegal. the only text anyone quotes speaks of a linkage in good condidtion but does not specify mechanical vs fluid linkage.

I guess what I should have said was "good luck" getting a full hydro steering 1968 J2000 thru the NYS Inspection Process...

I've sat down with every inspector at our place and looked at the NYS wording, and every one of them said they'd pass it 100%. (obviously if it's mechanically sound)

As winter is winding down my need for this truck is almost over.

$4000   takes it.

It will come with spare glass for all.   Spare doors.  Tube doors.
I will throw in the IROKs too.

Won't fit in the enclosed trailer, will it?  See how I shoot myself in both feet by selling the wheeler and the trailer that would haul the interim wheeler?

Believe me, I strongly considered this option.
