Not sure why it would not have been used but with the addition of proprietary software and other electronic systems on current tractors I am sure that is worth its weight in gold as long as seals and such are still good and it won't be a leaking mess once used.

It looks like the 6R series might be the modern equivalent? Base price for the 195hp 6195 is just under 200k.
