Couple maybe interesting things. I’ll have to see where they end up in a week. Trans jack would be nice, that’s the only one I remember after paging through last night.

My buddy who teaches Computer Integrated Machining Technology at NTID is really wanting that Haas CNC machine for his classroom.  He wishes that Delphi donated it to RIT/NTID for the students.

i think RIT bought one of our dynos for next to nothing, cost us thousands to remove it.  doubt they will be doing anything for free / donating.  no money at all.

my new trans jack just came in 208$ for a teloscoping 1100lb one.
i bet it will go for stupid money but its a name brand nice one i think.  some of the numbers were real surprising last auction.

Do you know who I can contact regarding IT equipment in the Delphi building?   My company could buy all of the phones, PCs, and networking gear if they're all decent.

That’s cheaper than I’d have guessed. Nice.

Plan to cross shop closer to auction end for anything that isn’t bid up too high.

More interested in racking and tire machine and press and drill press than anything on that block.

The belt sanders look nice

closes tomorrow at 17:00

previous sander like this went for $420+18% - would be worth it at half that to me.

wondering if the motor has low voltage wiring available. I think most do, but I think not all. is described as 3ph/480/60.

I'm sure the band saws are going to go for real money, the trans jack is nearing retail price already. gantry crane is interesting but not more than about $300 interesting, and its at 225.

both drill presses are of interest.

belt sander and big band saw are just about the only two im interested in.  Ill walk down and look at the sander but pretty sure is 480 only.

that little drill press and press are both nice, i have used them for years.  has foot petal start too.

I looked at that. Said it’s beyond my sanity and ability and worth

If I can’t grab one of those at auction I might do your 3/4 horse

nick and I were talking about how to get his fork lift over to my place to use them both to lift it off my truck.  it throw 8K on the RAM no problem, rear axle rated at 13K.  need some serous i beams under my floor though to hold my truck, 8K, and 12K in fork lifts lol

Seriously.

I think I could move my forklift anywhere with a lift easily. Just pick and set on my bed.

Haven’t had 5k on my bed before, but have probably done 4500 in pin weight. But my 2500# lift does not help an 8k job much.

probably be easier and safer to source a 5 ton chain fall, and back the truck up to where it will live, brace building with the stack of ibeams i have, eliminate alot of weight from the stackup  ha

i bet it will go for real money but if its like 1000$ i might consider it.

I’d be interested in one of your old drill presses too

I’ll take the Delta if Mark doesn’t.  I was just swearing at my HF unit today, 1” to short on material clearance.

I threw the saws on my watch list. I don't think I'm ready to get into dyno tuning 😂

that black dayton is beat from our garage guys, and its 220 single phase so i bet it will again go for real money.  the othe two vertical band saws.  one the motor is blown or only running on 1/4 power its useless.  the blue one i think is mint, and in our materials lab.  i have one though already.

this was my lathe in my old lab i use to use daily for years.  its actually really nice and tight.  odd they don't show all the tooling it comes with.  full collet sets, a couple tail stocks, 3 jaw, and much more. might even be an extra cross slide.  i remember i kept a bunch of the tooling from when they upgraded from an older lathe that was fine but got scrapped.

super nice unit for doing smaller stuff but still enough ass for larger if you can chuck it up.

maybe no tooling pictures will keep the price sane.  i threw some bids on it this week.

not surprised there are no bids on the dynos, I'm sure they'll be a pretty penny to remove... would be awfully awesome to swap my paint booth for a dyno cell 😂

I bet you'd make more money quicker compared to renting paint booth. There's always people wanting to put their vehicles on a dyno.

Easy way to buy engines, as a moron myself.
had first rando off the street come by looking for auto work. oil pan on a Honda Element? we'll see if she ever texts/calls back. Referral for a few full brake jobs will be coming sometime too. we'll see what we see with any of that.
