Long shot, but... Moving next week to Arizona and the broker for shipping the jeep is making me nervous with timing (still hasn't found anyone). Anyone interested or know someone who might be? I need it off my property by 11/7 and I don't get the new house until 11/13. I am in no rush to get it delivered so if you want/need to postpone delivery to make it more convenient that's just fine, just need it stored.
1974 Jeep CJ5, doesn't run.
Greece, NY to Avondale, AZ

Park it somewhere and pay one of the guys here who's going to KOH in 2 months to tow it?
-
not that long of a shot, really
worst case, would early february be too long to wait to receive if it's stored securely on this end? Could deliver on the way to KOH if not sooner.
-
I'm too slow for the ole Matt! :)
-
I have no problem waiting till February, more just worried about it getting to be next week sometime and still not having a driver to take it there. It would need somewhere to be stored too though, if someone has a dry parking spot and a trailer, I am 100% game

Storage is easy

id assume for 2300miles your broker is giving you 1500-1800$ quotes for this?
-
I paid $1000 when I shipped my BMW from ny to ut.
-
Was quoted $1350 for the shipping. The price isn't a problem, my problem is that the broker hasn't got a driver lined up yet and I've got a week left :).
-
I bet that rate for a non-running Jeep is why there's no confirmed driver yet. Broker is playing games.

It originally shipped from Sacramento, CA to here five years ago for $800 in similar condition.

Drop it off at Smike's shop. Fly to rochester when it's ready and drive it to AZ 8)

enough junk at my shop with no added value right now

Sounds like I've got a plan lined up with Mike M. Thanks for the community assistance, always appreciated.
