Title: WTT 1.5 hp electric motor for something smaller
Post by: mr.mindless on May 10, 2015, 05:03:00 PM: I canâ€™t run this at all on the Honda, and it pops breakers pretty much anywhere else.

Something in the 8-12a 120v range would be nice.

Have anything?

Iâ€™ve also got a 16a 240 only 3.5 hp unit Iâ€™d trade for. Not rpm rating on that. Thats a spare for my big compressor.

It has a 5.25 od pulley. Just ordered 4 and 4.5â€ to try. Should reduce load, right? Startup load seems to be an issue as well as running load so Iâ€™m not sure if thatâ€™ll help as much as Iâ€™d like.
