I know it's a long shot but I need/want the following parts:
01-02 Dodge Ram 3500 Dually Dana 80 with disk brakes, prefers to have 3.55
3rd gen (03+) Ram 2/3500 NP-271 (Manual shift t-case) behind an auto trans (48RE).
If you have or see one for sale, please let me know as I need to replace my worn-out t-case and to replace the inferior D70U out rear of my truck.

is there a WMS difference on the SRW and DRW dodge axles?
Chadley said he has some gen 2 D80s. No idea what is out there for disk brake swap stuff for these big boys.

I believe 70" for SRW, 72" for DRW.
My front axle is wider than rear as is from the ford knuckles conversion anyway. And it'll give me option to go dually if it ever come up to that. And it's easier to find dually D80 than SRW D80.

Chad has a couple. I am pretty sure he has a 3 55 d80 also. I wouldn't be to hung up on dish brakes if you get the drums adjusted right they have no problem locking up the back tires

I have like new brakes on rear of my truck right now and yes they're adjusted and work fine. IMO there's room to improve and I want to somehow retrofit 3rd or 4th gen brakes on the front so I'll like to have disc brakes in the rear "to go with it". Otherwise, DRW axle have bigger drum brakes than SRW also.

Spencer, where is it and what it's condition? Possibly interested as $350 isn't bad for a D80 as many places they want $500+
I found SRW and DRW D80 on PBB in buffalo and he can install trutrac in it before sell it to me for $800 then I can bring my D70 to him when it's out to get some $ back. One problem is the DRW don't have brakes it and it was swapped in a 1500 so it's spring perches were moved so it'll need to be moved back to stock location before I can swap it in. Also I'll like to try to buy 3rd or 4th gen rear brake components and try to find a way to mount them to the drum braked D80? Ideas?

And if I get the srw D80, I'm almost sure I can just get my new brakes off the d70 and bolt it right on it.

Oh gotcha. Any chance they have the spring plates or driveshafts? I'll need them as my stock driveshaft will be too long and the spring mounts will be too small for the D80
