-
35 spline drive flanges please 8)
-
Have you ever run their diff covers?
Just curious the price looks good.
I always ran the weld together kits in the past.
Is your price lower than what I scould see on the website?
-
D60 diff cover please
-
i have ordered about 4K$ from Matt at solid in the last couple years so he hooks me up pretty good
60/14 diff covers are usually 55-60$ shipped to me if we get a good order going
im going to rack up some stock of D30 / D35 / 8.25's/60/14 for the shop stock
you cant break these covers, they will wear off at the bottom as your dif dissapears like any other cover though
-
571 has solid covers front rear, solid 35spline drive flanges, solid 60 knuckles, highstear arms
572 has solid covers front rear, solid 35spline drive flanges, solid 60 knuckles, Solid inner C's, highstear arms
-
Damn, no Dana 70 covers :(
Fuck it, then. nada for me I thing.
-
Dana 60 & 70 covers are almost same. I believe the only difference is the "depth" of the cover on D70 is bigger to clear the bigger ring gear but most D60 aftermarket covers may fit D70 anyway as they may be made bigger for more oil capacity.
-
Matt at solid says the 60 will fit the 70 in his experience
-
I'll be damned. ECGS says 60/70 for the Solid p/n even though Solid themselves don't. Hmm.
I guess (2) 60 covers for me, then.

do you plan on taking one side in and out for street driving? you will not like the massive snap rings, they are shrong but PITA to RanR

not regularly. it hasnt driven on the street (planned) for a while. i need something that lasts offroad. these warn premiums are not proving to be reliable. 3 wheeling is deal breaker on CV hill climb.
-
to answer your indirect question, yes i want them.
-
ok 8)
i think 571 would have went kaboom on lower talisman.
RCVs, solid C's were adequately mercerized for a good duration of assaults.
-
on the solid site they have a "removable" slug option for 20$, wonder what that gets you
-
http://www.polyperformance.com/shop/Synergy-Suspension-D44-D60-Drive-Gears-p-61.html
Says it allows the drive gear to be removed while still having the cap installed. Sounds like the way to go... Donno if Solid ones are the same. Those are a lot cheaper too...

i'll try the removable option
-
D60 cover please
-
bump
-
How often do you order?
-
every couple months usually
last call? ordering tomorrow
-
i want those flanges.
can you ask about the "removable" option, if you dont mind. i cant find any info on that online...you can make an executive decision if they sound good. schrong is top priority.
-
"It allows you to remove the slug. They are also better for full floaters as they won’t loosen up, since the cap isn’t bolted to the slug."
-
So... Remove cap, pull slug, reinstall cap? Sounds good to me. Not now, but in the future.
-
must just have a little slug within the main one.
that sounds good. i want those.
-
ill ask tonight at meeting if anyone else wants in, and get prices / send order tomorrow.
-

Great, I need to replace the fluid in the front diff, its leaking a mix of water and gear oil all over my floor.
-
Fedex says tomorrow arrival, hopefully they dont decided to leave 2 boxes but keep one and loose it for a week, like they did last time.
-

Great! Thanks, Smike!

solid guy says wednesday they were going out, and sent tracking numbers, charged card. numbers say delivery today but no updates- i call fedex they say they have nothing, and labels are still with sender. F
my awesome luck.
-
Is it waiting for you at home?
-
it was never scanned in to fedex system other than labels printed- so i doubt it.
-
No big box of parts waiting for you?
-
nope
no response to my friday morning email
-
only you
-
In transit, didnt leave till my email friday (no response wish people would just commit or straight up admit) says it will be here tomorrow.
-
Status?
-
no body home to sign for gay fedex
-
So no delivery today?
FedEx does that, not sure why. What percentage of people are home during the day to sign?
-
no clue-
but, i just called they said i can pick them up at thurway park right down the road, its actually back there already and on hold for me. ill grab it after work
-
Every time I have FedEx I have to go to elmgrove you lucky bastard
-
I never have signature issues. Everyone just leaves shit. Nothing ever walks off unless one if my neighbors grabs it for me when I'm away. It works nicely.
Tapatalking in traffic
-
Solid order is in, everything here.
-
I have the night to myself, probably stop by if the forecast is accurate and I don't want to work on my shit in asspouring rain.
-
shoot me a txt if you decided to stop by. have to run around tonight for laundry / food / shopping, but we should be working on junk / loading and general foolery at that shop later.
-
10-4
-
i'll pick up and pay for mine and Harry's flanges at the meeting next week
