USA Standard shafts are made by Yukon - same materials, process, plant, drawings, etc. The U-Joint area specs aren't met. Meaning they won't hold a CTM or other aftermarket joint, so they are downgraded to USA Standard. As long as you are fine with running Spicer joints, this will never be an issue. They are still strong and etc.

That guy is full of shit, the reason they are USA standard is because they do not meet Yukon specs, Not just in the Cap area, could be a lack of material on the ears, or a out of spec shaft. The specs on the Spicer joint caps are the same as aftermarket.

So there is potential for me to have problems with spicer joints with the USA  shafts. Crap. I guess we'll see

I haven't bought those yet. Deciding on slugs vs Yukon chromo lockouts vs warn premium lockouts that I already have

If you already have Warn 35-spline lockouts, just run those. Street driving will be much more enjoyable.

It was "ok," I'm not sure what the big complaint was?

I won't be patronizing macgregors again. firing Don for going out with co-workers was my last straw there.

McKenzies was just an awkward crowd and uncomfortable atmosphere.  The wings were great, beer was ok.

I could care less about the drama at McGregors- it keeps the scenery fresh

I care when people I've become friends with get canned for stupid AND illegitimate reasons. I'd hope you would too.

Much more variety if we trek over to East area, but that's a bit of a haul from south Henrietta

I have to agree with smike especially if the employer has a policy against it and there may be more to it from the employers side than your friend has told you or realized.

They fire people there for stupid shit all the time. I'm tired of supporting it. Not the first time, won't be the last. They are the worst owners of any local establishment - ask around of their reputation.

meh, if you don't care, I don't care that you don't. But I'm still done there.

That place was decent. Distracting talent was distracting. Smike and I were trying to have a normal conversation about correct anti squat setup and were interrupted visually.

How did you install the joints?
Sometimes they need a few hammer whacks where the ears meet the shafts to re-alighn everything.
They look within reason esp if the clips fit... how do the joints feel. No binding..  id run them.
:D
