:like:

4.56 might be a little shallow. you should drive mine on the street first.

rear 4 link setup sucks. i would sacrifice anti squat to not punch the floor. lowers on the bottom under the frame rail and uppers as high as they can go with bolts dropped through from the top.

i would use a BJ ford axle like Harry, especially with COs.

FYI, stock V8 front springs moved to rear net 3.5" lift. you will like that hight and trimming for tires.

Coilovers will be much more friendly on the street than air shocks,

My ZJ was long arm and not thru the floor, it worked well.

You will need to hack the shit out of the wheel openings to clear 40" tires. 37" tires seem to be a good fit on the unibody jeeps.  ;)

40s for street seems silly but you have a surplus of near bald not-for-street-use 40s so why not.

agreed that may be shallow

I have a balljoint 60 housing and case. no gears no knuckles

i was really hoping the Shovel needed a clutch instead of a clutch linkage, cause that would have sped up its demise to the torch

Those don't sound like green puddle fixes. Fluke leak?

This machine is a wonder. I drove it and wondered how the front axle had not fallen out. So many bad noises.

The nut was loose on the pass side, 1" of side to side movement of the top of the tire.  Other side was a spenser 5k duralast bearing that was bad and got another one swapped in.
