1999 Jeep XJ Forest Green
Daily driven and on road now
Clean NYS title in hand
NYS inspected till 9/2013
131K
4.0, Aw4 automatic, 4x4
power locks / mirrors / windows
2 key sets / 2 remote key fobs
CD player
Tow hitch
Interior pretty good shape
dent near rear pass tail light,
small rust on pass front door, pass fender
Large rust on roof, all has been "repaired" and sealed with matching auto color spray
recent transmission flush, oil change, all fluids checked and toped, ready for winter.
ARB front bumper
Warn 9000 winch (needs repair / rebuild / replacement, but present, non functional)
2x6 rock rails welded in
3" rustys lift with full rear leaf pack, no blocks or spacers
33" tread wright re tread MT tires with EDGE grip molded into rubber
New crank position sensor
new rear O2 and rear O2 bung
exhaust work done, all good.
new wheel bearing
front ujoints replaced
pads rotors on front replaced
Fender trim and tuck
Current known issues:
secondary e fan on radiator missing
If not daily driven at least once a week the battery seems to loose charge after sitting (charge system OK)
some of the power locks stick

first jeep the 4x4 like works no issues and even the dash light comes on to tell you your in 4x4!
drives mint! only needs like 4 hrs on the battery charger a week!

it baffels me how the headliner stays dry but it just dripps from the gutter only on the drivers seat.

windshield leaks will do that. ask saint michael about that.

My XJ leaked before I swapped the glass...
MJ is up next as well

there were holes in the roof that i could stick my arm through when i got it.....
foam, bondo, and paint, i did what i could.
think it needs some silicone next on the gutter!

I have a chick looking at my 96 Civic today who told me she wanted it then wanted to test drive it even though I drove her around in it for about 20 minutes. She says she doesn't understand what manual steering means. If she buys it, I'll come out with money. Good thing you don't have chicks looking at the jeep...they drive me crazy...she wants a sporty race car with all the fixins but she is concerned about manual steering...

There are a lotttt of 3"/33s, short arm, stock geared/open diff XJs out there and most people buying them don't care about miles. Gears, lockers, or long arms up the value of them significantly.
