Title: Bigboy Trans Discussion
Post by: KingtheZJ on December 30, 2013, 03:00:21 PM
NV5600 is almost back together and will be back in within a couple weeks woooo.

I think my plan is to start collecting parts for the Eaton swap as soon as funds allow...there were 2 spun off mainshafts in the box of parts I got.

for my future reference

Nick will rightfully disagree, but your 5600 experiences were with one that had spent 300k towing across the country, no? Doesn't seem unreasonable to me, and you've already committed to this path, just run it for now?

Save up $4k and you will have plenty to do the swap. With all those parts you have can you build a couple working 5600 to sell?

"9 speed" means little. There are many of many sizes and troupes and ratios.
