its stock, but it doesn't come close to running out of fluid either way, plus a huge cooler.  I'm thinking its worth a try, there was one a JJ i should go get.

Found this monster PS res off of a landrover.  Drilled out the pump restrictor, figured if it doesn't get better its time for a different pump anyhoo.   

Been reading up on pumps, a lot of yota guys swap to a chevy 'P' pump or the Saginaw 'TC'.  Both of which are pretty rare in remote res and serpentine.  Probably not really worth messing with when the TG 1650psi pump is bolt on for under $200...

Installed a sweet spare parts storage box, everything but a front axle housing in there ;D

i probably have 3 or 4 Ppumps laying around that are fine, in serp or vbelt....as for remote, that takes two clamps and a piece of radiator hose....



a Van LS pump is also remote FYI,

Any TBI chevy motor will be serp, probably the vans would be remote.

I looked at the astros at JJ, they were remote res but had 3 ports pumps, looked like vaccume assist or something?  What are you chevy guys running the P pump with attached res?

Mine has 3 hoses, pressure return and return for the hydroboost brakes. I just capped the third one.
