ok....
I asked on ECJ5 for a soft top measurement since I don't have access...

Grabbing my tape ... the bottom of the center of the bow is 45" to the flat part of the floor between the ribs.

Looks like the 46" I measured from the load floor to the bottom of the roof pans out..
when I measured from the bottom of the driver footwell to the top of the windshield frame I got 46" as well..
as you can see the top actually goes up higher than the windshield frame, but the soft tops would start just a hear over the 46"

Ill be in the office Friday and can measure anything since I have the CJ6 across the street here.

If it matters to you, I've heard rumors that 5 point harnesses do not qualify as seat belts in some states. Seems ludicrous but worth a check if you care. I wouldn't.

For daily use I'd go cam lock style instead of latch n link. Friendlier and less apt to pinch clothing. More like a factory belt experience.

If it's going to get wheeled, or you want the impression of a true offroad rig, I'd suggest 5 points. With a camlock, 2" shoulder straps, and "pull up" adjustment on the lap belts I don't think you're giving up much.

I think NY is one of those states.

issue with them is DOT regulated as they are NOT OEM..
in case of an accident lawyers will absolutely go after everything that isn't iron clad..  no matter what state you are in.
think a GM recall is messy??... imagine getting hit in your ride with 5 points, passengers or yourself getting injured and the other party would not be liable since the belts weren't OEM installed..

having said that... I would trust my safety in a 5 point with a cage on and off road..
just didn't know the viability of them for adjusting radio, coffee, kids, etc....

They Will definitely limit your reach when they are adjusted tight enough to actually work correctly.

I put a set of corbeu in a CJ restoration I did a few years ago. It was a hybrid design.
Double shoulder harness design that latched similar to regular lap belt.
Better than OEM IMO.  But somewhat annoying to get in and out.

Can't beat an OEM retractor setup for radio and coffee needs. A 5pt that's tight enough to do its job really really keeps you put

The 4.3 work well, Had them in the Profender buggy for the Kids, and I think Gif has them in his buggy.

no roll bar in the truck....

from rail to rain gutter on hard top is 28"

measured from here... right by door opening

total height of roof from side rail is 32"

from rear of load floor to opening of rear door is 40.5
