Rolling chassis status.  Trying something new for the front spring shackle mounts on the bones.  Using poly bushing.
You have to have the suspension loaded when you fab the mounts so the shackles are on the same plane.  Then hours of fitting the small boxing pieces.

Almost time to get back at it.  Started ordering the next round of parts.

Fall projects out of the way.  Back to the Sedan. Started by moving the drivetrain forward 3/4".  Test fit the low profile oil pan.   Working on the body floor and sub frame.

Started on the steering.  I liked the cowl steering a lot on the Coupe, so I figured I would do it again.  Mopar steering gear mounted.   Scored a 16" (Chevy?) steering wheel.

You wouldn't happen to have a "remote rod" for a inside door handle kicking around from a 30-31 door would you?

Looks like they cease to exist these days.

I'll end up bending one up worst case, but thought I would ask.

Sorry, probably ended up in the scrap pile.

I never pass on 1935 wire wheels.  These will clean up nice.
Got the steering wheel mounted.  Shop clean/reset and then on to the master brake cylinder.
Was looking for a 4L80e shift kit.  Prices are 2x what they were 2 years ago.  WTF.

Solid couple of days.  Cowl/under dash sub frame and supports are done.  Master brake cylinder and pedal is in. Under dash panel is ready for electrical hardware (on order). Driver steering arm is done.   Working on the steering gear arm, made of 1/2" plate.

Steering gear arm bent to shape.  PCM mount done.  Couldn't find a good price on a 4L80e shifter kit, so bought a eBay 350 one and modded it.  More floor and interior body work.  Ordering next round of parts,  gas tank, battery,...

All new 1350 driveshaft is in.  Battery and fuel tank locations in.  I normally mount them to the frame.  But for packaging and ease of servicing I mounted them to the body.

Did the final welding on the body sub frame and then started to install the floor panels.

Covid slowed me down for a few days.   But back at it tonight.  Floor and back rest complete.
Also did some sub frame boxing and finish welding.

For the rear deck I am making hatches to gain access to the battery, tranny cooler and the fuel tank.
This is very time consuming.
