picked up this unit tonight
had to convert it to LP
electric, gas, vent adapted, stat run unit hung, purged and started up.
half the size and weight, more ass, no pilot, all electronic ignition. works great.

No more backfires? Lol
-
nope. just some paint fumes for first 15-30 min of operation as per the instruction manual

I would not use this for a 6K warehouse

usage is based on how much you use it of course and at what temp you set and how long / insulation status.
all in all i use about 600$ a winter in fuel which is about 200 gallons
this unit is rated for 1000 square feet. seems way over kill for my 800 sq

i of course used existing roof vent / gas line / fittings / electricals so my install was only a few hours.
starting from scratch, your probably in 1200$ with a 100 gallon tank dropped full and vented.
the smaller unit lowes carries comes with a propane kit, i had to buy mine separate.

mine on Nat Gas will heat my well insulated 4 car (over 1000 sq).. have an aux 220 Volt electric in the shop space (400 sq)
-
FYI its 108$ service charge to leak check and "startup" a new unit
thieves
-
That's more work than plugging in to an OBD connector.
but yes definitely thieves.

push a hose on to regulator, look at watch, look at tube of water.
zero work at all
