i found 3.25" OD x 2.81" ID x (.219 Wall) DOM on ebay for pretty good prices
also, seems Deny's drive shafts in buffalo has good prices and shows stock for online order.
i ordered new yokes, splines, and slip yokes to make two new 1350 drive shafts with 1.5" splines.

I will be ordering some parts to make front shaft. Rear is done.
Any thoughts on greasable vs lifetime Spicer joints?
I just pulled a lifetime out of Cora old rear drive shaft and it was in pretty decent shape for its age. Compared to a grease be joint that never gets serviced

I started to second guess myself because summit had them listed as light duty and elsewhere they were listed as heavy duty.

in one year of racing and wheeling i had 2 out of 6 1350 joints that were dry and hosed. Matt had one or two dry caps also.
i dont believe there to be a strength issue of a 1350 so i prefer the greasable for what we do to pump water and mud out.
they are 18$ from summit or Dennys
a heavy Dennys box was on porch this morning before i woke up. thats pretty crazy service.

I would agree - non-greasable stock joints for the D60 knuckles where strength counts but make the driveline joints live a happier life.
I don't think my shafts are going to get torn down before KOH; they all feel decent though, no slop at least. If something feels terrible while the yokes are off I'll dig in but otherwise it'll wait till springtime prerace season.

splines are still sloppy but not rounded off. I bet that used to have the teflon coating on it and it's now gone, and not getting worse too quickly.
fingers crossed it's fine for Cali. fix it for the season.
May try to lube it and get a shock boot or something on there as a "seal" to help it live a lil bit longer.
