Need to glue up PVC discharge and cement an existing hole in the basement wall around that 1.5†discharge line.
First “real†lathe use today. Apparently there are 2 3/4†non tapered threads. Garden hose/ washer hookup, and whatever was available as a Pex female 3/4 swivel thread. No idea what that matches with. It’s finer than garden hose, almost like NPT threads per inch - but not tapered.
Anyway, I had a short pice of garden hose with a female swivel. I harvested that nut but had to open up the ID to clear the shoulder of the pex fitting. Worked perfectly.
Little bit hack, but it’s plumbing on the finished side of drywall and in a utility room. More importantly it got me 3/4†feed without having to shut off all house water nor sweat copper pipe. Just hook up to an existing hose bib for pervious washer connection.
Little nervous about the super duper quick set cement I got, that’ll be a first experience for me in hydraulic cement and in fixing a wall and in cementing in a pipe.
Got it all pitched away from the house, and using a P trap backwards to avoid ice issues and give me an easy disconnect.
