anyone know this connector? Superwinch solenoid. Planning to direct wire to dash switch, would like to not just cut it off the factory relays if I can get another...

It's the female end I need.

Confirmed front was all on setup bearings. Will stay that way for Cali most likely. Goal was to get both ends done tonight. Left work at 7p yet again, just got front to first pattern check. Not checking; going to bed.

Took every shim I had to make the carrier tight. Housing is likely a bit spread with as loose as the stock carrier was with a reasonable number of shims. God I want dropout thirds.

throw the new pinion in as the old was depth wise and set the preload.  get the carrier in with preload and backlash.  put the cover on.

 ;)

matts spool too .060 on each side to get some preload for a start.  i doubt that housing is spread, or it would be broken.

not sure how many turns lock to lock you are now,

but i reduced my radius by about 3/8" when i went to artecs and got my steering from 2.3 turns to just a little less than 2 i believe.

ooh, good call. I'd like to be a little less, that's easier than a quickener. I'll have to do some playing.

though that car already doesn't have enough steering stop in it for the axle joint clearance.

the solid knuckles have bosses that contact the C

if all the bolts are gone and its just boss on C, you only travel about 30-35 degrees steering

mine are beat in enough on the knuckle i get about 42 degrees

I think these are probably 35, but the yokes are probably good for 32. They fight. It'll break ujoints eventually. I'm not changing them right now since they look and feel good. I'll regret that i've done nothing to limit the knuckles or ram the first time that's actually a problem.
