put a fuel gage on the hood, that would have been my first action lol
even a cheap HF one with flex hose and zip ties
Howell still blaming ICU or 10% chance GM box
assuming I had a gauge...
what would it show me I don't already know? (devils advocate here)
when the engine dies it doesn't have fuel... I loose tach signal so the Howell doesn't sent fuel
when I turn Jeep back on I hear the FP pulse (not initiated by tach signal)
Troy (@Howell) told me how to check for fuel pulse when I get a shut down..
he even admitted it will be tough to do.. have to disconnect white wire from tach and tap with test light to + battery terminal to replicate distributor action..
I have a NOS Mopar box.. might throw that on tonight if for no other reason shits and giggles.. with an independent ground?
I want to re route my howell "white wire" to a better place where it might not get interference from heat or RF..
hate to try this.. but smike, you guys have any OE duraspark boxes from parts Jeeps? might try and oldie but a goodie..
