waiting on a call back, but it is looking like wonder 2.0 may be born.... hehe
-
Buy mine it's got remote start O0
-
Mike, i forgot to ask if the trailer could be accessible, any chance it could be by around 6?
-
I'll try and shuffle stuff around asap.
-
man, guy sold the tires on this beast last night. crap
-
I've got rollers from eagles if it's a jeep
-
tires were half the value of the thing, he has a stock set.
says the winch is in rough shape now and doesnt know if it works. probably still a good deal for the new price he threw, but tires are expensive man!
-
meh, you're the king of Craigslist. No problem!
-
anyone have some 31 or 33"s around?
-
Retreads
-
500$ for (4) retred 31's is WAY to much for this project budget
-
I have a set of 33" retreads on Cragar soft 8s. Decent tread but chunked up a bit.

-

$250?

ill probably take the tires Mark
got this kid home at 7PM, running by 9:15 :)
new crank position sensor installed, two new O2 sensors included also. she has some good roof rot, but underneath pretty clean. couple dings, the interior isnt bad, just some hacks and things taken apart.
Warn winch is hosed, sever corrosion and cracking on mount and motor, soloiniod box is mush. ARB bumber good, all interior parts present.
couldnt get it to crank with key, probably same problem with Wonder 1.0 that i will never find. fired right up, shifts good, 4x4 good, trans 4 gears good.
oil good, trans fluid dark.
needs exhaust put back on (all present and in the back, clean) interior emptied, cleaned, driver side window motor, window controles probably replaced, radio put back in, hood latch cable sourced, fenders trimmed, 33" tires
she is a machine!

came with new in box
crank sensor
(2) O2 sensors
new drawbar with 2" ball
boxes present for cap, rotor, plugs, wires already installed when original trouble shoot occured
those items probably cost what i paid for the jeep, so i am thinking this is a score for a good flip again.
-
Good score.
Tons and 42"s ;D
-
na, fenders, sliders, cleaning, 33's
$3k jeep flip
-
There was an older guy 50's in the club a long time ago (10 years or so) that had a Jeep just like that. arb bumper and all. I will have to do some thinking and see if I can remember his name.
-
Gene's XJ kinda looked like this one minus rot
-
Gene's XJ went to cash 4 clunkers.. :(

did some triming and fit some new to me 33's
needs about 1" lift more in the front and more trimming. good in the rear.
was gona drive to work today, but thunderstorms forcasted- need to fix the roof before that haha!

rotors and pads looked new
also found warn winch controller

couple craftsman sockets
3 bags of kid play sand

like 3$ in dirty change
this thing just keeps getting better!
-
When are you going to do the picnic headliner?
-
this headliner is in A1 condition
-
if your looking for stock size tires the ones on my MJ will be coming off soon..
-
retread 33" hand me downs are the way to go!
-
love the fog lights
-
fully functioning radio and assembled dash
power locks and windows and power mirrors mostly work.
needs a pass door lock latch thing
SWEET MACHINE
-
Hey Mike, slight chance I still have an old set of power seat sliders off a 97' XJ if you want them
-
filled the holes in roof last night, sanded, bondo, painted tonight
fixed hood latch cable
all that is left to be 100% is front door service and new wiper blades, some fluid changes
-
Dorman makes the hood cable....
-
some electrical tape and 2 beers it was made OEM function
i am going for bare minimum investment into this hog, i am at 600$ and its getting plates tomorrow.
-
stuff from me is just time, no dime...
-
ya, but the pride of my investment will be so much higher when i sell it for 3500$ in 6 months
haha
-
Doors and all things put back together. Road tested, she is ready for plates.
-
replaced rotted hardline from MC to rear flex line
started cutting out and rockers and fabbing sliders
-
Gonna resell great
-
got the passenger rocker full welded in. pretty rough but just kept plasma ing untill i got to good steel.
this hog is insured, and if i have time tomorrow ill get some plates for it.
-
this pile has a new drive floor board welded in. just need to finish the rocker on that side and ad some paint and she is good to go.
plates tomorrow, forgot to print out the insurance id card today >:(
-
Practice for doing a new driver's floor board for me right?
-
welding and rtv was used. not really the amount of effort i would entertain on a customer rig, but it will work for 2.0
-
this hog has plates and stickers and is road tested. rockers done and painted.
left the truck at the shop and dailying this hog tomorrow!
-
;D

Dayyyyummmm

small explainable issue yesterday upon road cleanup. I was trying to let it run to charge up the battery, but idleing with no Efan, she started to over heat and popped a CEL, once i got some clean air and speed, it was fine, and then i didnt let it idle. a few more starts fine, and the light went away.
Need to get an efan for this guy.
Figured out giggling the key is what makes the radio power / power locks / windows not always work.
she also has some randomness that sometimes locks all the doors.
Seems to run good with good power, kinda fun to drive. autos are weird.
-
No kick outs?
-
Ready for RC next weekend?
-
needs efan to do anything other than daily driving.
not sure front end clearance is enough for any type of flex. i herd a little rubbing even going on and off camber on the side of 390.
tires are smooth and not too loud to 60-70
-
double your investment for 5" lift and 35's http://buffalo.craigslist.org/ptd/3295704165.html
-
Looks like a good start to a buggy........
-
not a bad deal if it has a title. could strip it and scrap the rest,
-
That's a guy in the WNY 4x4 club that I'm in. I believe it's lifted with 3" springs and 2" blocks / spacers. There's a couple other people talking about it on the club's facebook group page.
-
Wonder 3.0? Bet he take 500 at this point
http://www.rc4x4.org/rcforum/index.php?topic=18075
-
put 110 miles on this guy at 65
rides nice. burning electrical smell or exhaust leak needs to be identified.
got about 12mpg bristol and city driving. doesnt look much better at thruway speed.
-
Ooo the sweet aroma if burning wires. That's no good!
-
its been the same since day one, its odd that nothing has failed or started on fire yet,
-
For us, that's a totally normal phrase. For the 99% though.... Hahaha
-
Have to find the power lock fuse on this guy, keeps killing the battery. Also today I noticed the fob for my dodge also locks and unlocks the jeep. Thats kinda funny. I would have thought by 99 they would have a million codes for that sort of thing.
-
that's crazy! you just won a shitty lottery there, I think. I'm not sure what it'll take to get them back out of sync... I don't know enough about Immobilizer II. :-\
-
ha, i walked home today ::)
At least it was a nice warm day!
-
Oh no, what happened to the wonder?
-
I think the power locks are spazzing and killing the battery.
i am still on the battery it came with that i brought back from the DEAD DEAD, because i dont want to kill a good battery untill i figure it out.
it pulls .56amps while sitting. the tolerance of my clamp on meter thats believeable. more than once i have walked up to it and heard the hatch lock going nuts
-
That's well within the range of acceptable by aaa standards as far as key off draw.
-
i thought 25-100 mah was more acceptable, not 500
-
I'll recheck my binder if I can find it but I recal it being absurdly high. I want to say it was 1.2 amps for new vehicles with lots of computers. Will have answer by afternoon.
-
aw shat, ac pump locked up and roasted belt!
no power steering sucks driving home!
-
I know how that goes. Next thing it'll be spitting fuel parts and you'll wreck it!!
-
this guys IACV is not happy, wont start without lots of throttle games, even after restart from Eagle jump. Never experienced this before. dont thing its a Voltage or Memory thing, radio settings were saved.
no codes other that transmission position signal (known issue)
-
fully charged battery and same.
looking like clean the IACV or forums say TPS can cause this issue.
hmmm.
-
TPS will do some crazy things that little bugger
-
next time at J&J ill grab everything
-
I know it doesn't take the battery going down too much to throw mine into idle re-learn mode sometimes. Seems like there were a couple times it did it and the clock didn't even get changed.
Both my Jeep and Reid's TJ have both been cured of what seemed like a never-ending idle re-learn by freshening grounds and battery connections.
I'm sure Chadley would agree on the TPS though.
-
I'm 100% on battery terminals.
-
those pesky battery terminals messed the crap out of brothers van!
-
I'm 100% on battery terminals.
i believe this to be 0% of the problem,
i will take a look at the BEYOND shitty power / ground to the underhood fuse box and replace / fix that
-
well when other components are obviously shitty that can indeed be an important consideration
I forgot about the key last night, I'll try again today hopefully not leaving after 6pm.
-
i will be late again tonight i will need beer
-
I was not late at work but was late elsewhere for better reasons. If you need, it holler at me and I'll drop it by right then.
-
efan installed.
2nd JY driver window motor installed.
