Haha you seemed so concerned last time it was brought up. Whatever keeps the races going is the right idea I guess.

its like our country, no point in hoping/protesting for change until someone dies.

Talked to this guy (Todd) for a half hour on the phone about this buggy he's selling:

http://www.rc4x4.org/rcforum/index.php/topic,16197.0.html?PHPSESSID=081fc3bb9a2253f4c7462318bc371591

He says he knows Smike and Mike Mike from racing and co drives for someone (can't remember the name) He's also good friends with Brett Keller and pits for Lucas Murphy at the big races.

I'm mainly looking to buy this as a starter buggy to trail ride with and get used to and then race with it after making the necessary changes should I pursue that route.

Here's the dirt on it:

Comes with a CJ Grill, TJ Hood
1/75" .120 wall DOM tubing on the chassis
Link mounts are a mix of 1/4" and 3/8"
Links are 1.75" .250 wall
6' tall, 3400 lbs, Belly clearance is 18"

Axles are out of a CUCV Chevy and have the factory set gears and rear locker. Front is welded. Axles were shaved for more clearance. Aftermarket Slugs from Great Lake Off Road, Has GM disk brake conversion in rear
Tom Woods driveshafts front and rear.

Atlas 4.3 was new in 2007. Twin sticked and has front and rear cutting brake for front/rear digs.
Warn winch with brand new rope.

TBI 350 Engine, Cammed and rebuilt. Ordered full setup from Affordable Fuel Injection to convert to TBI.
Trans is manual valve body (Have to shift it yourself) and is a TH350 NOT a TH400 as advertised. MVB sucks for racing! Trans is built however with many goodies and should be easy to sell.

Has Beard Susp Seats and 4 point harnesses. (Prolly won't work well for racing)
Fuel Cell weeps fuel near one of the welds.

Thoughts on this hawg?

Price is firm at $7500

Forgot this hawg has an Atlas t case as well!
