bump
placing order soon
-
I should probably take a set of your last order.
I restocked from TSC a couple weeks ago and left it on the scale at the store ::)
-
dont order the fine thread 3/4's like i did lol
ups ground is free shipping so probably just order your own
-
oh, sweet.
-
im going to try the fine thread 3/8" on all my ujoint ubolts
-
I am liking the fine thread 3/8"x24 top locks on the ujoint ubolts. All locked down!
-
order placed today again. good stuff.
-
need to restock my bolt bin.
this place best pricing over TSC?
-
i have found TSC good on small stuff, but expensive on 1/2" or larger
you get into 2-3 bolts per LB it gets expensive quick
-
If you guys have grainger accounts check their clearance section. I have bolt bags of 100 (3/8" - 5/8") grade 8 top locks for a couple dollars when the switch suppliers.
-
i just put 105$ in bolts into my bin last night.
they now have pc/lb on the label so gives you an idea cost. like 1/2x3 bolts you get 4 or 5 to a lb (more than FNL). 1/4 washers you get 160 / lb, way less than FNL
-
just placed another big order to fill up my bolt bin of all the ones i can never get local. looked at prices and only about 15% increase from 2013 so not too bad considering
-
that's surprising. probably should stock up on hardware in general, I'm sure it's coming. feels like anything purchased now is an investment.
-
i checked on amazon and price was about 3x cost for 3/8 via 15packs so that was no good.

I've been buying way too much lately on the justification that it isn't going to get any cheaper...

I'm in a garage group (mostly for organization inspiration) and many people are waiting 6+ months for new garage doors. Many people have new metal shops built, but no doors and resort to boarding up the entrance temporarily.
-
TSC is now 6.49 a lb bah, 100$ into my bin
and another 300$ order from industrial depot and im stocked back up. was low on 7/16" and top locks
-
displeased with this companies service, have moved to amazon for top locks.
12 days and no contact on a 300$+ order send email, they said, oh its shipping tomorrow maybe.
order came complete as ordered.
i did screw up and ordered 2 items in fine thread, instead of coarse.
requested RMA for return, 5 days not response.
lame
you lost my business.
