seems like something to check into. maybe it'll turn out I have more space when I get my shelving home tonight and I might have a place to put one (doubt it)

I have this. Was $600 two years ago, though. Seen moderate use, I'm happy. Talked to real people in WA on the phone before I bought. 3 year warranty. Readily available consumables on eBay.

I'd pry do Northern unit now for $660 if I did it again. Also has good reviews and 3 yr warranty. Price was 600 vs 700 two years ago so went with Razorweld

im just still amazed at how unaffected my hypertherm380 is with undryed un maintained air.  i have put in zero effort into air quality.

every once in a while it gets pissed and you unscrew the little filter on the back and blow it out with air.  assemble and good for another 6 months.  China consumables some times need slight deburing to work but other wise love it.  cuts 3/8 clean severs 1/2 fine if you have the patience.

i guess i wouldn't mind a bigger machine if it makes cutting 1/4 faster.

I put a $10 Home Depot water filter separator right before it goes into the unit per the suggestion of the Razorweld guys on the phone.

my hypertherm needs a new air regulator.  machine works but bleeds air and doesn't adjust.
