seems like lately getting in to axles and things that i really need a good slide hammer.
have looked online and all i can find is 5lb with pidly attachments. Anyone have one they love?
mostly i need something i can bolt to a wheel flange to pull rear dana44 TJ and JK shafts out. they are a pain. i guess im going to have ot go custom m4 tool!

I think tool trucks probably have something worthwhile (for 5x price). The bearing puller special tool I got for trans work had a larger thread than any slide hammer I've handled. I got a decent hammer but had to weld a bolt to one side or the other to adapt as needed.

This is what I used a lot at my old work. It works really well and strong. Although the price is hard to eat.

this one? http://www.harborfreight.com/heavy-duty-slide-hammer-and-puller-set-16-pc-63268.html
I bought this one and promptly returned it. I couldn't get it to really pull parts off because the slide weight isn't much and no handles to really grunt on it.
