I don't think I'd hesitate to run 35spl chromo inners and keep the stock carriers. The biggest thing is how short the unit bearing stubs are... there is nothing there to take up any of the torsional load so they just snap. I think you'll end up needing 40spl outers.

<3200lb ready to wheel rear steer on 42s is awesome. You'd have to spend a lot more money and do stupid things like tiny links and 3/4 heims on lowers to do much better... not worth it for something you want to beat on all weekend.

I commented on that when you left last night. sounded a lot like the drone Eric was looking to remove from his Ram. Excellent!

New quiet flow muffler installed this morning.  Zero drone or any more claptrap shit sound.  So much better and perfect amount of v8 when you stand on it.

Got its first hand wash!

Worth looking at. Changing to draw straw for low pressure frame rail pump and making filler and mounts work seem like similar level of work overall.

Pic and dimensions?

All the car tanks I’ve had were way too wide. Nothing still around, I haven’t held onto them.

Mitsubishi must employ child labor to put the pickup screen on the draw tube on this fuel tank.

And yes I did snap 2 of the 3 studs on the level sender. Studs don’t stick through. Dual wall on top it seems. Will be fun to drill those out

Or I just get a big hole saw out and give room to work and fix 2 problems. That may end up the way to go. No existing flat spot of course.
