This Pump Is Brand New, Not Remanufactured
The heart of the 1400 pump is a larger ring and rotor which displaces more fluid per revolution.

Some of the pics in here are from this thread. REALLY worth a read if you're curious about these things.

I don't know which pump it is that Matt's PN is, and in the first page I didn't see any way to identify the p185 vs the p235 since it's apparently all in the cam...

P132 and P185 have the same size enclosure. (large cars/trucks)   P235 is larger enclosure.  (school bus)

I for some reason always noticed how older cars seem to have more powerful power steering. Almost zero force needed to steer while sitting at idle but my dodge do need some effort to steer when sitting or moving slow. I've been meaning to read through that thread to understand how to make the pump to give me more power at idle.

Most of those old boats have no feel at all, and more turns lock to lock. It’s a trade off for road going vehicles...
