XJ leafs
« on: June 12, 2012, 06:31:39 PM »
Exploring the idea of putting XJ leafs under my FJ40.  I don't want/need lifts springs, just stock height that are not clapped out.  Anyone?

I think I saw somewhere that they measure ~52" eye-to-eye.  Is this along the arch or the horizontal distance between eyes?  Is the spring pin centered or offset?  Thanks

I think it's offset but I don't know how far. Used XJ leafs will always be clapped out, they ALL sag.

Duly noted... perhaps some 1.5" springs then?  Are they military wrapped?  I seem to think they're not.

These wouldn't be the 63's would they?  Don't quite have the room to extend the wheelbase that much.

52 would be great, but need the military wrap.
