I've often wished for better (faster, more durable) tool storage options on the trail. I've seen a few tool trays that seemed like good ideas (I think I've shared this one https://youtu.be/StRbnKodL6g?t=122 ) - here's another. Socket trays made to fit a 50cal can

seems easier to have a top-load than a drawer setup.

Cool! The only downside I can see is rattling.
And it's still crazy to see Baja cars catching air and landing in a crowd...

baja is insane. I think as a driver you just need to turn off seeing the humans, otherwise you could never do it.
couple rags on top to pack it tight - good for holding the fasteners you're removing to not lose them, rubber on the tray tops and bottoms. I think it'd work well.
I think I also saw HF selling 50cal cans last time I was there - not sure if surplus or knockoff.
