im sure somebody has polked around on a website while bored..
-
stazworks will make..
still looking for other options..
-
legend makes swr 19.5s that are sweet at dealer price 8)
i have nothing productive to add to this topic ;D
-
What about places like stockton wheels or marsh?
-
after looking into this and some math..
I might actually be better off with a metric tire and a 17" rim...
looking at trail ready DOT wheels... dont think I need a beadlock with a 34" tire...
-
what are you trying to rub ix Goldberg here again?
-
CJ6 stuff...
got talked off the cliff by a buddy..
I wanted to run a flotation tire i.e. 33x10.5x15
stock 60-70 rim was a 15x7.. wanted to pick up more back space due to narrow track axle.. ~2.5-3" some of the early CJ5 people run...
but going more simple...
sticking with a ~33 tire.. need wheels with backspace for NT axles..
3.5 will be sufficient
8" rim came stock in the mid 70's
no turning radius issues..

17x8 alloy wheel with 3.5" BS should be a nice combo...
Had a lot of phone conferences yesterday and this AM…
Had some thinking time…
-
maybe i should paint the jeep all different colored squares and have a hamster wheel under the hood
-
paul runs a 2.5" backspace wheel readily available from summit
-
only steel... puts some stress on the bearings and spindles..
after some research.. 2.5 is a bit much.. 3.5 should be perfect..
-
you wont hurt bearings or spindles, i have wheeled the weee out of those with locked 35s and wheel spacers
-
nobody told me how bad a 17" rim looks with only a 33" tire...
damn

think were back to 15x8's
thanks Mike.. always sound advice..
-
the rim looks too wide in that pic with too narrow of a tire.
I've always thought that 33s look best with 16s. Too doughnuty with 15s.
-
then my YJ is rolling on bear claws with 15's and 35's
