Flat doesn't look bad at all, probably just bad enough to deserves a vulc. Maybe 2" gouge, dead center of sidewall.
I put the battery on 40a charge for 15-20m while I hooked it back up and took a phone call. I don't remember if I left the ignition on or not during that time. Voltmeter read ~11.5. Flipped the charger to 'start' and the circuit appeared to go open, load on the charger went away. I was hooked to the battery directly. Car power was still present.
Strong crank & fired immediately. Shut it off and refired no problem.
Sprayed probably 500 gallons of water at it - cleanest I've made it in a LONG time, and freed up the fan I found dead. Fans then spun strong. I shut them off and started it twice.
What the fuck?
White I was considering the fucks it could possibly be, the serpentine belt started to fail. The chipped PS pump pulley finally took its toll. Would not have been enough run time to get me another lap, and I did not have a belt on the car.
