Found this sketch today.   Dated 9/2010.

I think I got it pretty close to concept

Nothing much to report.

No Issues other than a dented rim from running back to camp at speed with low tire pressure.

It did well.   :)

I need to change out the bushing ends for heims on my upper links at the frame.

Bushings suck.   I thought they would absorb the vibes as not to feel it in the chassis.   But they cant take the load.

Too much twisting? Smike will also point out they need lube to last.

Bushing do not last in a buggy. No lube or anti twist will help. Smashing the axle back and forth destroys them. I am anti-bushing in anything that sees moderate off road use.

Damaged brake line below  :o

For what ever reason I had a spare.  http://www.summitracing.com/parts/fra-311040/overview/   :)

During our high speed runs the brake line got pinched between the upper link and the chassis.   That means I bottomed out the shocks and the bumps   Time to increase the charge on both.    Also need to clearance 1/2" on the chassis to allow space for the hoses and brake line.

New 1.25" Heims swapped in to replace the bushings.   Wow! what a difference they make.   Buggy feels tight again.   No more clunk and no axle roll when I stomp the brakes.

I did have to rework the mounting tabs because the mount was too shallow for the Heim and I stepped up to a 5/8 bolt.
