The ford 35 spline USA standard stubs are $135 shipped per set on rock auto. Don't know about the Chevys.

From that other thread. Since I can't figure out how to copy the thread URL or quote on this new version of tapatalk....

this guy has redonk prices on chromo shafts

USA Standard shafts are made by Yukon - same materials, process, plant, drawings, etc. The U-Joint area specs aren't met. Meaning they won't hold a CTM or other aftermarket joint, so they are downgraded to USA Standard. As long as you are fine with running Spicer joints, this will never be an issue. They are still strong and etc.

Gave me a quote of $400 for inner shafts and joints only.  Lame.

I never understood the quote forums.    they NEVER give a better price than what is listed on the websites.    stupid..

I have yet to get a quote that was a good deal.

I think it is just for the lazy people that dont want to search.

I spent 2 hours on google.   Done.

Front all back together.   The Solid Drive flange snap rings are no joke.

This pig needs new inner axle seals.  (maybe over the winter break)

Pulled the 14B cover to check for water.   All oil.
Noticed the bottom of the axle was getting thin.   In fact the bottom most bolt for the cover was ground off.
I added some 1/4" plate.    Not bad for upside down welding.
Should be good for a few more seasons.

Both Dakota axles need that sort of love. Not bad for upside down at all!
